Late night pin bassin and I end up catching my Pb on a micro rod in the thick stuff

Had a good hour at my favorite pond. Two bigger ones were 1lb 14oz & 1lb 13oz. Caught on silver & blue lipless crank.

DIY for when you hook yourself or someone else & bury the barb. If you bury the barb as I did, the best option is to push the hook the rest of the way through exposing the barb as in pic 2. To do this though, you will have to pull the skin tight while pushing the tip of the hook out. Then use wire cutters, snips, etc. to cut the tip of the hook off making sure to get the barb as well. Then you can slide the remainder of the hook back out. Make sure to clean and sanitize the wound so it doesn’t get infected. I would also suggest numbing the area fist as well. Forcing the hook back out through your skin does not feel good.
