Deer Creek

Caught another smaller bass (11") using the same Texas rig and red and black worm.

Used my Abu Garcia baitcaster combo and a plastic worm on a Texas rig. The sun was going down and the temp was perfect. There was a other larger bass swimming around and taunting me but I got this guy hiding under some dark shade.

So I caught these two bass today and the large fish was my first catch and I'm surprised how quickly he attacked my lure. My kids where super excited and I even stabbed myself while showing my lure. I used a crank Bait but I don't know the brand so I couldn't include that info. I did use my Bait caster rod and reel set and so far I'm impressed with its use. Still need to practice my short casts to skip my Bait where I want it but I'll figure it out.
