Recent Catches At Jacksonville Lake

Went out with a friend to Lake Jacksonville today. I caught 16 largemouth and 2 spots. Largest was 3 lb 3 oz. Fun day.

Went catfishing after work but they weren't biting so changed it up to see if bass were but wasn't expecting this

A friend invited me out onto Lake Jacksonville today. We had a blast. Bass were chasing shad, we couldn't reel in fast enough. Not a lot of pictures, too much action. I did catch a longear sunfish on a square bill, which is a first for me. Most of the bass on Jacksonville (and we did not catch any monsters) were very healthy, chunky, even the smaller shorter ones were doing very well girth wise. We caught over 100 between us. All c&r. I am tired. ha.

Me and my niece went fishing last night. Needless to say we had a great time. I took her to one of my spots and yes she caught two nice channel cats and I caught none. The awesome thing about it is tonight, she got a chance to shine. Cangrats Chelsea and Happy birthday 👍👍
