Lake Camelot

I didn't weigh the fish or measure it. I was in my kayak and the wind was blowing really hard today, and the fish nearly swallowed the worm and hook, so after removing in the hook , I took the pick and hurried to get the fish back in the water. It has been slow, and the small fish have been mainly biting. I can hardly wait for the bass to start spawning.

All three pics are of the same fish. It was caught on lake Camelot. It put up a good fight. I released it back into the lake.

After fishing for a couple of hours, I was headed in to shore, I made a cast toward the bank in about 4ft of water, the bass hit the bait as I was reeling a big curve out of my line because my kayak was moving and the wind was blowing when I cast. It put up a good fight. I was wanting to release it, but my buddy wanted some fresh fish, so that the story of that bass.

This bass put up a fight like it was twice the size it is.

I caught these fish this evening. I'm just now able to get out and fish after having covid-19. I'm still not 100%, but it is a blessing to be able to go out in my kayak.
