Such a beautiful morning out fishing. I enjoyed watching the steam rising from the water and all of the wildlife. It was so serene. If only I could start every day off like this. I caught a 3lb bass on my favorite spinner bait and a 2lb bass on a crank bait. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a pic of the 3lb bass. He decided to jump off of my scale hook while I was weighing him and he rolled down the hill and back into the water. He put up a good fight when I hooked him.

I had a great time yesterday morning catching up with an old friend who I haven’t seen in a few years. It’s great to have you back in Texas, Danny Adams! I’m looking forward to more meet ups and hopefully more fish in the near future.

Woke up early before the kids and temps were up. Put a good playlist on shuffle and did what I love. Man, it started getting hot by 9am. Who do you like listening to when doing your thing? 🎣

Just the one today, but I’ll take it.

My boy and I managed to capture 15 fish in total. What a good day for fishing!!! All fish were cought on the diesel minnows by Z-man on a 1/4 oz jig head.

Had fun hanging out with my dad today. We both only caught one fish each, but they were both solid catches.

My first ever Freshwater Drum. Pretty fun catch.

I was hopping a soft plastic crawfish along the bottom looking for bass and unexpectedly reeled in a couple of fat little catfish. Better than nothing so I'll take it!
