Nichols Green Park Pond

Was out Bluegill fishing today and caught this beauty. It was a female with a belly full of eggs. The coloring was amazing. I thought it was a Green Sunfish or a Shell Cracker.

Went bluegill fishing today. I caught 6 but they all looked like these two. Plus they wanted to get back into the water more than I wanted to take their picture. I used Bagley. Wax worms and 1in Bagley minnows. Nice day in the sun, my hand and knees tan is coming back.

Went back to the same pond as Saturday. They started biting on the night crawlers this time. I caught more than just these two, just the same size. Met a young man there who didn’t know what to fish for. Gave him a hook, bobber and some worms and he started to catch some also. He was very happy and I was glad being able to help him.

Caught about 6 or 7 of these. Some bigger some smaller. Using Berkeley wax worms in red and white. Did not catch a one on a piece of night crawler.

Went to Nichols Green for some bluegill. Caught 4 and one green sunfish. No pictures. I guess you’ll have to trust me on this. PS this is not one of the fish I caught today. Felt bad about not having a picture.

Fished another pond. Last time didn’t catch anything. This one bit a Green Pumpkin Red Cutter Craw from Bizz Baits. It was the only one today
