Rhodes Lake

Have you ever caught a fish you just snapped off on? First drop at the first tree I pulled up to and BAM! Fish on! He got wrapped in the tree then snapped off. Retied and dropped right back down, then BOOM! Caught him again and got both of my hooks back!

Better than nothing.

I’ve been skunked my last 4 times out, but did ok today. All the bass hit a TR worm, the sunfish went after a jerkbait.

Gotta be my pb bluegill; the hook in the pic is a #4 worm hook, hit a 6 inch lizard. LMB hit my go-to watermelon-red fluke. Then the lightning drove me off the lake.

All over the place today; some on a fluke, some on a chrome jerk-bait, and some on a senko.
