Sabine River Wetland

With all the rain the night before the fish were not in a biting mood. The boys made the most of it playing in the water. We found this guy literally in front of the house, crossing the road when we pulled back in. We released him on harmed.

My grandson’s first flathead cat or appaloosa as we call them around here. Not a monster but a good start. Also ended up with 10 keeper blues. A great and relaxing day of fishing and talking with the little guy about everything under the sun. 😀
