South Fork San Gabriel River Run-Off Pond

Ever have those days...where you come up to an awesome body of water. Can see loads of fish from panfish to bass. Then can't catch anything or just slay super dinks...? Well that was today. This pond I've fished before they started doing major construction as they are building homes everywhere out here now. 😑 Finally able to get out here as its accessible. Only thing I could get to bite was green sunfish lol. Saw loads of bass nice sized ones at that but no takers. Even went as far as putting one of the small sunfish as bait on a bobber. Still nothing 😋🤣. Funny if you look on the map and look north you'll see another small pond. That one is loaded with bass that are aggressive lol this one not as much. Maybe because they have such a good food source no need to be aggressive? #601 Fish Caught In 2024
