She finally got to reel one in on her own, my son caught one and I caught one. Overall good evening. #catch22

She didn't catch this one but she finally built up enough confidence to hold it. I moved to this spot and the very first cast he grabbed it as soon as it hit the water. I didn't actually know it but was giving the lure a second to sink and then I noticed the line moving. I started reeling and gave it a tug and it started fighting.

Figured I'd cast a few this morning and caught this one and another but the 2nd got loose at the bank.

This was a fun one too catch. I need to get something to weigh them so I know what to brag about! Lol

She caught a couple blue Gil while I was searching for the bass. The only bites I got were from the fire ants I stepped in...
