Spot fished her on a wacky rigged senko.

big boy broke me off again at the creek. I had my rapala jerk bait on with a 12lb flourocarbon leader. He ate it as soon as it hit the water and I messed up by setting the hooks to hard and thinking it was just 40lb. braid and I didn't reel in the slack line. A lot of mistakes were made.

Brad Butcher
Got one from the front pond I thought was big enough to stock in the reservoir. I lost a huge one at the bank but I was thankful for the topwater buzzbait bite that started about 2:30 at the pond.

I had a blast in the rain before lunch and after. Got some good bass released in the reservoir but also keep some in the creek.

Brad Butcher
Did some more restocking to the reservoir. I hooked the big un but it broke me off. Right after I took the photo of the one caught on the whopper plopper it started pouring blood out of it's gills but it wasn't gill hooked. I quickly released him back in the creek.

Brad Butcher
The creek has changed but it's only gotten better. They aren't trophies but for a drainage ditch that's fed from the towns sewage treatment plant. I love it..

Brad Butcher
Got some dinks. All the bass moved off their beds from the cold temps. The last photos are how the creek looks in summer before the cows ate all the cane break.
