“One last cast” yay!

And this one swallowed the hook uuugh had to get pliers and I kept putting him back in the water for a minute to breathe in between me working at getting that sucker out. I didn’t want him to die! Makes me miss Damon Saffell my official unhooker haha. Took me forever and I tried to be gentle, but when I finally put him back he just.. floated :( I was saying prayers for him and I did see him breathe every once in a while… so I’m reeeally hoping he woke up after a while like last time this happened but I had to be somewhere and couldn’t wait to make sure 😮‍💨

First time fishing in a looooong time!!

Not smiling because he swallowed the hook and was bleeding pretty bad. I thought he was going to die because he was just floating there (but still breathing) when I put him back. Omg I was quite upset thinking I was killing this thing unnecessarily and making him suffer..BUT... After about 10 minutes he snapped out of it and swam away! Yay! Guess he was in shock or something at first.

Just HAD to catch ONE!! Yes, I’ll go home now 😇
