Beaverdam Swamp Reservoir

Wife caught a 1 lb bass and then a catfish around 1.5 lb on the next cast. Not a lot of fishing tonight. More watching going on, dude beside us caught a grass carp but didn't get a weight. Had to be somewhere around 30 lb or just over. Awesome battle, great entertainment. Even the kids set their poles down to watch.

Well I beat the girls tonight! It was daddy's turn for the win, lol. First fish on a new rod/ reel/ and lure. I'd say that is how you break in new gear! 3.5 lb beauty off some top water action.

Middle daughter caught a 1.44 lb bass tonight. Got it on a chartreuse crappie jig.

My oldest caught this 1 lb bass of a swim bait just before we left. My middle daughter brought in 30 crappie but I didn't take pictures of that. My wife also pulled in mixture of fish from bluegill, crappie, green sunfish, and red ear sunfish. Fun fun fun..

A little after work fishing tonight, caught this 1.42 lb bass on a bobber and a chunk of nightcrawler. Also caught some bluegill, crappie, grass carp, and green sunfish. Good times!
