WOOO! 2.1 pound female and new PB! First dropshot fish and my first fish after a week being skunked every day! She was up shallow next to a tree, probably ready for the spawn...look at that fat belly! Lost $15 in lures my first 20 min here but she made it worth it!

Perseverance and tenacity (stubbornness?) pay off! Finally broke my curse at Lake Lawson! This was my fifth time fishing here and I hadn't caught anything until sundown today on a KVD square bill crankbait. In comparison a few guys next to me caught 10 fish while I was here today and said they caught 60 yesterday. Apparently live minnows are the bait of choice for success.
