Mattaponi River

Caught 7 fish biggest was 11lb couldn’t find the big cats tonight but had plenty of screaming reel action from these cats.

Caught 10 fish just a couple bigger ones. Had about an hour long heavy rainstorm come through.

Very cold December night the one big fish I had bite pulled the hook at the boat. Probably around a 30lber. Caught 3 fish and one of them on my new Whisker Seeker rod.

Catfish were not biting good got one 20”er and 8 baby catfish maybe next time.

Finally got to do some fishing, it was top water morning on the Mattoponi. No wall hangers but fun all the same

#Catch24 still working with her to reel em in on her own she’s getting better at it. We just caught one then her reel got hung up on a cast and snapped line so just caught rest of bait with cast net

Caught 7 catfish between 26 & 30” in a slow night of fishing. The last 5 were caught when I was about to pack up. The fish literally hit every pole I had out one by one. I reeled one fish in landed it then drag started screaming on the next rod and that repeated five times till I had all my rods in. Exciting end to night of fishing.
