So… how does this happen?? He has a hole in his side. No boats on this pond. Fish fight? Turtle?

17 incher. Big fight. Ahh.

A couple nice chain pickerels! (Anither one cut my line as well…) Fun.

Caught this big chunk but didn’t have my scale or tape measure. I’m guessing he was over five pounds though. Beauty!

Just a few more pics of my glorious rainfall morning!

An absolute “AMAZING” morning of fishing in a hard steady downpour of rain. Caught 3 species of fish... LMB, Crappie and Chain pickerel . This little hidden gem of water is beautiful and extremely healthy. The fish that I have pulled from it are fat and healthy with beautiful vibrant colors. Today I landed my PB Chain Pickerel at approximately26”-28” in length and approximately a little more than 6-7 lbs. Her mouth was so big if it were not for her teeth I could put my entire fist in its mouth and not touch the sides. The picture I took doesn’t do justice to the size and heft of this pickerel! All in all I landed 1 bass, 3 nice crappie and 4 pickerel...all catch and release...all in the rain, LOL soaked to the bones... I loved every minute! Fish On!👍👏🎣
