Lake Armstrong

Went out last Sunday to the local lake with my buddy and his dad. We spent a few hours catching little ones and right when we decided to troll back to the launch I hooked up with this nice football of a holdover. Smoked up nicely!

Great morning on Armstrong! Caught my limit as well as my PB! It was a bit of a challenge at first as the fish weren't biting any of my lures, but I found out that power eggs soaked in garlic pro cure were the ticket today.

Opening day at Lake Armstrong, had a total of 7 fish on. Kept 2. Almost landed my personal best rainbow trout looked close to salmon size! Unfortunately it shook loose right before I netted him. I'll be back for revenge 😆

2nd rainbow trout today caught on Armstrong. Made for a tasty fish and rice dinner!
