Interesting day. 45 degrees. Sometimes sunny, sometimes not. Sometimes windy (25+ mph) sometimes calm. When cloudy and windy 🥶🥶 Caught 3 in 2 1/2 hours. The biggest one broke my 4# leader at the hook when trying to get him on the beach. 😒

Went to checkout Rowland on a sunny low 50's day after they stocked this week. 3 good sized ones in 30 minutes. Took an hour to catch the last 2 (slipped bait and bottom snag). First 3 were over 18" and close to 20. No kayak today.

Rowland got a nice 200 / 5lb fish stocking 2 days ago so decided to give it a try from shore. Fished from noon to 3. Caught one and missed one. Nobody else was catching. Only 3lbs. I guess I caught the runt.

Fun day at Rowland Lake. It was stocked last week with Jumbo trout. 3 in our group and caught our limits.

Really nice trout. I was retrieving a Berkley mouse tail and he hammered it.
