Bearskin Lake

It was a little chilly (pic of my rod guides for reference) and I've had this guy (thinking it was a muskie) follow a few different lures several times over the last week. After getting a figure-8 follow in another bay on the same lure from a muskie, I came back to this little guy. Finally got him on my last cast of the day!

Wouldn't you know it? My beautiful bride just HAD to show up my smallie from yesterday with this behemoth. Biggest freshwater fish she's ever caught and probably the biggest smallie I've ever seen in person. Caught on a Mirrolure, a saltwater soft plastic used for redfish, trout, and snook. #2020BassOff

I knew there had to be something there off my dock. It took a few casts and got a few hits before finally landing him on a Watermelon Red Zoom Super Fluke. #2020BassOff
