Sonderwater Dam

#3 - Morning FA. It is nearly the weekend already! This little one was the last one of the morning. We pushed through to about 15h00 without so much as a nibble or a bump. I was feeling very sorry for Reece, but he said he had fun, so I guess it was a successful session, after all. #Catch24

Morning! Another beautiful spring day is dawning... This was nr 2 of our little session at Zonderwater dam. This one was also a garlic floatie with a little bit of backing, and the ball was coated with Tjop Tjop and Bass + ( which is a pineapple and a tcp with floro flavour). It gave another screaming reelrun, and I took my time bringing it in. Reece did another great job with the net, and he released it safely back. #Catch24

Morning FA family! Finally, I had an opportunity to go fishing and spend some time with my son. I decided to take some time off and take him to Zonderwater dam, but it did not go according to plan. We were in a cold front, which moved in, and upon getting there, my pre-booked swim was taken. Luckily, we could resolve the swim issue, but the fishing was really difficult. I finally managed this beautiful Common after an ear splitting reelrun, and Reece did the honors of netting it and capturing these pictures. #Catch24

What an epic day testing out our skills at a new venue and some winter tempo fishing 🥳😁 Zonderwater was off to a slow start but once we worked out the combos and distance it was game on soon after lunch time, they started coming in thick and fast 🎣👌 Even got some kurper action as well as a new PB for one of the kiddos 🥳🥳 All round GREAT day out, another fishing adventure ✔️
