My first brown trout ever! After chatting to a few people who go to Lakenvlei often, they say that brown trout are no common catch. Some having fished there for 3 years and have yet to catch one. Really stoked about this one.

Had a beautiful first experience at the Lakenvlei dam. Fishing was very slow but very worth it. Spent the whole day here and caught this beautiful rainbow trout. Gave me an exhilarating fight and made the entire trip worth it.
