Bluegill, redear, golden shiner and sacramento pike minnow are doing well in snodgrass slough. Caught many of different species fish recently in last 2 weeks. I often still limit out for the day. CNR all day

Used jig. Not sure exactly, but about a heavier #6/#8 jig and fat bodied black curly tail grub. Jigged above fallen log while laying on tree. Dont have scale. So ,,, maybe 3lb + but measured exactly 15 inches. Inch over 3700 tray with mouth closed.

15 redears for the day!! With 3 rudds. Personal best father son combo team at 18 fish. 13 ft cane pole. CnR

Greg G
1st time catching this rudd. On cane pole. Good! Fight

#12 hooks. Very small worms. Lazy hooking with no tails works better than threading, especially on small worms. ( sometimes) caught 5 from 4.5 inches to 8. Verying sizes. Also caught splittail or black tail. Long skinny at 8 inches

Caught 5. Always super fun. Used black widow cane pole at 13 ft. Adjusted depth of leader from 14 to 20 inches following rise and lower Of tide to match water collum. Kept bait at mid water. Seems sunfish have begun their spawn. I always forget how much of a thief sunfish are.

My sons vibrax had gold/ pink flake blade on silver spinner.
