When water is cold a blue ice straight tail 1.5 or 2 inch Shad is always a go to for me. Fish under a bobber.

Caught a few crappie and a couple of small bass using a 1.5” miniature minnow natural color with a 1/32oz jig head. Fished 2’ under a bobber 6’-8’ of water. North wind very cold water 38*.

COLD water bass. Used a 1/8 oz shakey head with a 3” green wreaking craw. Crawling it so slow across the bottom. It was in 8’ feet deep in a shallow cove. Water temp 34*.
