#Catch24 Beautiful day of fishing at Bone Creek Lake and Crawford Lake in Kansas.

Good day of fishing. 🥳

Caught a limit of crappie this morning. Most were caught along weed edges around wood. Used a 2” Johnson Shad Swimmer 8’-10’ deep.

Slow bite but still managed to get a few yesterday and today. All on a small jerk bait 2” long. About 20’ off the bank in 8’-12’ deep. Water so clear I could watch them crush it.

Caught my limit of crappie today. Found a few small schools around standing timber 8’-12’ deep. Used a 10’ jig pole with a 1/16oz jig paired with a 1.5” pan fish assassin blue ice.

Caught my lunch for tomorrow 🐟🌮‘s! These little guys were hard to find. Rained almost every day this week and the water is muddy. Bright colors was the only thing they would bite. White, chartreuse, and bubble gum pink worked well with a 1/16oz jig head.

Limited out this morning in a couple of hours. It was windy but didn’t seem to phase the fish. All were caught 5’-8’ deep on moving jigs. Used a 1/4oz jig head today due to the wind. Curly tail minnow body is what they seemed to hit the best.
