Awesome afternoon! 2@4lbs and lost another that looked the same. Caught several little guys too. Used a green pumpkin bitsy bug 1/4oz jig with a green pumpkin super speed craw trailer. All were caught at weed edges 4’-8’ deep and almost every bass we caught had just eaten a crawfish. We seen pinchers in their throats.

Caught a ton of little guys 1lbs & under. Then out of no where a 5# pig. All I used today was old faithful 1/4oz bitsy bug with a speed craw trailer Green pumpkin. Most of the bass were 5’ deep along weed edges and lay downs.

Used a 3” craw with a 1/4oz Ned head. Letting it fall along a sloped bank hitting the top of weeds. The fish couldn’t resist. Most were 8’-12’ deep but did catch a couple on top with a kicking frog.

Son and I wanted to target some bass before the rain hit. He used a 2” swim bait green pumpkin on a 1/8oz jig head and I used a 1/4oz bitsy bug with a green pumpkin speed craw trailer. Caught 13 in an hour.

Caught several more gills today. All were shallow against wind blown banks. Used 1.5” panfish assassin blue ice and green pumpkin on 1/16oz jig head. I learned recently to use loop knots with my jigs. It gives the lure a life like appearance under water and I believe I catch more fish this way.

Had a great time fishing with the girlfriend this past weekend. Got to watch her catch her PB on a 1/16th oz spinner bait! Pretty sure it was the smallest lure in her tacklebox lol On a closed face that still had the original line. Got in the water so i could grab him before he swam under the rocks. Great fish, was even better to watch her catch it. Weighed in at 3lb 10oz, 20.75" long. He would of weighed much more if he was filled out
