Mined Land Wildlife Area Reservoir

Caught several bass this afternoon but this 3#er on a jig and craw trailer was the biggest. Green pumpkin!

Nice couple of days bass fishing with my son. We used Ned rigs and jigs. Fishing deep weed edges.

All little chunks today. Used a 1/8oz shaky head with a menace grub. Most were around submerged brush 12’-18’ deep. Not an aggressive bite just felt weight and set the hook.

The bite was slow but managed to catch a few. I used a 1/4oz strike king bitsy bug camo color paired with a green pumpkin speed craw trailer. I also used a purple fat head worm 3” Texas rigged 1/16oz. All the bass were 10’-15’ deep around grass. The bluegills and rock bass were shallow under shady trees hanging over water.

Spent a couple hours this morning fishing with worm and bobber. Casting under overhanging trees and underwater brush along the bank. Super aggressive!
