Large smallmouth on the Mississippi

Caught a few solid 3 lb fish and hooked up to this big gal. Redemption to the one I lost yesterday

First time throwing a jerkbait in 2025 and did not expect catching a healthy sized walleye. Jerkbaits are my all time favorite lures for just about every species. If you guys like jerk/twitch baits, I highly suggest picking up a Shimano World Minnow with flashboost. Killer lure.

Nice little super dark bass caught by gold metal flour in the lock and damn.

Fun to get out with my youngest son even if all we got was a couple little fighters.
