Arnold Lake

I landed my first two TopWater fish!! I went back out after Easter dinner and got two bass on the double-plopper!! Not as spectacular a hit as the one that I missed earlier. But two fish on a plopper none the less!

I did a little easter-day bass fishing with my old man today. Eventually my mom walked down too! A nice time was had, we caught several dinky bass on all sorts of lures (mainly a strike-king bitsy minnow and a rapala shallow-shad) and I even got my first ever too water hit! The bass was a decent size and it jumped clear out of the water to smash the double-plopper lure that I was using. I hooked it and got it halfway in before it jumped again and shook its head to throw the hook. So close to landing a too water fish. Oh well. Happy Easter!

Got this little bass on a 4-piece jointed sunfish lure tonight. Ambitious little fella.

Fishing with my dad in the pond by his house this morning. My mission was to catch a sunfish and I pulled it off with the beetle spin! I'm not 100% sure which kind of sunfish it is, but I'm going with bluegill unless anyone else says otherwise. Also I caught a few little dinky bass and my dad caught a few as well as a tree. It was a nice morning.

Had some fun catching a few bass with my dad and grandfather! They couldn't resist the bomber.
