Mad River

PB smallmouth. My wife and I went to a wedding. This river was right outside our hotel. Urban fishing was a lot of fun here.

Smallmouth very active on the spinner and caught a couple on a 3” grub

Girlfriend caught her 1st 3 fish yesterday. We both matched with 2 Smallies and 1 Rock Bass each. She wasn't ready to hold them so I'm holding the ones she caught for the picture! We had a great time.

Finally caught my first Mad River fish! Nice area but never any luck until now!

This was right after catching my first ever smallmouth, then this guy for a PB. What a great day for me. It only takes ONE cast. Get out there and go get em 🤙

This was my first ever smallie. Not new to fishing but never have been able to locate any in my time, to be fair I just recently started that hunt. But this was an absolute unit, couldn't be MORE pleased for a first smallmouth. 🙌
