Me and Jayden went out in search of rainy day giants on Sunday. Wasn’t able to get the big one we were looking for but we both still landed one. I got one right as he was pulling up on the Berkley Powerbait 5” Nessie glide bait which made it my first glide bait fish! Jayden got his on the good ‘ol bill Lewis rat-l-trap. I lost one in the 4.5lb range on a chatterbait and I definitely wasn’t happy after that. I was really happy that Jayden landed one because he hasn’t landed a bass on a lure since last June. Me and him are both on the hunt for a new PB, so hopefully we have some big catches to come.

Went out for about 7 hours and 15 minutes today and got three fish. 2 in a Texas rig and 1 on a chatterbait. Learned a very valuable lesson today, don’t fish for 7 hours with no clouds and a short sleeve shirt😂. Despite the sunburn, had a good time and I’m excited for my tournament tomorrow evening!
