Indian Hills Community College Pond

I need some help identifying this fish. I think it's a Smallmouth bass but not 100% positive. I checked my 1978 encyclopedia Britannica, fishing edition, and it was no help. It weighed about 15 pounds in my online expert opinion. Thanks in advance for your help.. #catch22

G Bassturd and I had a nice evening session last night. She decided to go old school and use "rod and reel" which actually produced some nice Bluegill for her. As you can see in the first pic, this giant inhaled a top water jitterbug she was throwing and got a little ouchie in the process. He swam away just fine, hope he makes a full recovery. As for me, the bus was still in the pond so I fired it up and the night was good. #catch22

Stopped at a local college in the city I grew up in and fished some ponds I have been saying I was going to fish for the last 20 plus years. They did not disappoint. I couldn't believe the size of bluegill in these little decorative ponds as I call them. Finally check them off the list. Caught all these after borrowing the college basketball teams charter bus and driving it into the pond. Also, I want to thank the FishAngler Team for kindly making me an ambassador.
