Mined Land Wildlife Area Reservoir

Several nice crappie and gills yesterday. Used a 2” Johnson Shad Swimmer with a 1/8oz lead head. Blue gills were shallow and crappie were around brush 10’-12’ deep.

Caught a bunch of bass around 1-2lbs and one over 3 also had my line broke once. Used a 3” trick worm Texas rigged with a 1/16oz bullet weight. Green pumpkin. The bigger fish were caught in brush 8-12 feet deep and hit on the drop most of the time.
