Lake Ann

A couple small perch today. Weather outside the pop-up was rough for a while. The video doesn't do it justice. 25 mph winds, 30 degrees, snow, and complete cloud cover isn't super ideal.

Two smaller sunfish today as well. Overall, an EXTREMELY slow bite. You could see the fish being marked down there on the Vexilar, but they just would not bite. Pretty odd, I've not had this happen much before. Usually, I can figure out something to get at least a couple to bite, but oh well. It's called fishing for a reason, not catching. 🎣

Got to get out again this afternoon! Caught my first bluegill through the ice!

My first largemouth through the ice as well! Not a horribly small one either. Probably won't ice fish this lake again, as this bass and the two sunfish were all that I caught in 4 hours. But still a very fun day on the ice!

One little pumpkin.

Lots of bluegill tonight. Missed multiple bass and a pike on a topwater frog, but none landed. Overall, I think I'm going to continue sticking to the river instead of spending my time at these smaller lakes.
